Full House!
I really wanted to include pictures on this post. For those of you who haven't heard, my sister, her husband, and their 4 kids have moved in with us! Sammantha is 7, Parker will be 6 in another week, Aubrey is 4, and Haven is 2. And she will be adding #5 in the mix come October! It's pretty crazy, I know, but so far I think it's great! Stephanie is an amazing cook! It has always been my dream to have someone cook for me and I have to say, I couldn't be happier! She is supposed to do all the cooking while I do all the dishes. So far, only she has held up her end of the bargain. Hey, I can't help it if her husband likes to help out. :) I have a gi-normous table in my kitchen that actually fits all 11 of us around it! (6 chairs and 4 stools. Tegan in her high chair.) My girls are a little cramped in their bedroom but I just try to avoid going in there so I don't get overwhelmed, haha! Brigham has all his toys as well as Parker's toys in his room but it's still not too bad in there. Poor Stephanie has all her kids in one room. It's a pretty big room, though, so I think they will be ok for awhile. And we have boxes and boxes all over the place although Steph is doing a pretty good job at sorting through them all. The garage is full of bikes, bikes, and more bikes! We wanted to build some sort of shed but there really isn't room for it anywhere so I still don't know what we are going to do about that. And they brought their trampoline with them! It has been so much fun for the kids! I love it. I'll have to post some pictures as soon as we get everything figured out!

Summer Fun
Just some fun pics of my 'kids'. Brandon filled up a big bucket with water and they were filling up squirt guns and splash bombs!
Jojo was pretty into it all. She couldn't stop squealing!
Brigham had fun in the beginning. I don't think he likes to be cold. He also didn't like it when they broke out the big buckets....

But he did like helping Daddy splash Jordan when she wasn't looking!
So then Jordan decided to get him back.... look at her face. She can't contain herself....
And off she goes to get Daddy....
She almost dropped it several times because she was laughing so hard!
And victory!

Herriman Beach
My sister, Michelle, found this really cool "beach" out in Herriman. I was debating on whether or not to blog about this because it really wasn't crowded at all which was kind of nice :). It was so perfect for the kids. They have a shallow part for the kids which is separated by a little cement wall from the deeper water. You can't really see it in the pictures because I guess it was a lot more full this time than the other times Michelle has gone. But the kids absolutely loved it!
Tegan especially loved the sand. She loves to put it on her legs and anyone else sitting around her. She's fascinated by it. Haha!
Here's me and the Weegers. this is out in the deeper part. Michelle brought a couple floaties (luckily, or I might have drowned!).
She also has a really big floatie that they call Hairy. Don't ask me why. There is absolutely no hair on this thing....
Michelle took the kids out in the deeper part for a ride.
Good thing that cast can be washed out! There was so much sand in there! We might have to go in for a new one. I don't know if we got it all out....
It took Brigham a little while but he finally felt brave enough to dive in and have fun! He did so good!
You can't really tell here but Tegan was shivering with her lips. She thought that was such a fun noise to make :)
When Tegan saw Hairy she got so excited! She wanted to go on it so bad so we put her on it but before we could even get out there, she was leaning so much that it tipped everyone over! That girl is never cautious about anything....
And here's my handsome Biggs.
That house you see back there is the closest one. You can hardly see anyone. It's kind of out in the middle of nowhere. I hope I can find it again! It was so much fun!

Brigham's 3rd Birthday!
And Here's Brigham on the hunt....
A couple days before his birthday, Brigham decided he wanted to ride Jordan's Dora bike. The wheels are all bent up and it rides pretty screwy. But he mastered it in one day! So of course we had to get him his own bike for his birthday. But this one is a little more high tech I guess you would say. It has the brakes when you push the pedal backwards and you have to push harder to get the wheel to go around. So it has taken him awhile to get the hang of it. He's getting it though.
He is also VERY into games so we got him the Cootie game. (It was my favorite when I was a kid.) He and Jordan have LOVED playing it and building crazy cooties! Although Jordan won't play the actual game anymore. You have to roll a die to get each body part and first you have to roll a 1 for the body, then a 2 for the head. You can't add anything else on until you get both of these and the first time Jordan played it with Brigham and Brandon, she only got the body and could never get a head. Brandon and Brigham had their whole cootie built and Jordan still just had their body :(
His bike was by far his favorite gift though.
Brigham loves his cars as well. Stephanie's kids gave him a set of cars which he constantly has to fight Tegan over.
Nana Sorensen made him a library book bag. He has been wanting one since Jordan got one last year for her birthday. She also gave him a new book, a car (which was his absolute favorite at her house), and his very own gum! Oh my goodness was that the coolest thing in the world. That actually might have been his favorite gift :)
Nana Randall gave him some new shorts (he's totally obsessed with shorts now days) and a shirt as well as some really cool new transformer shoes. He even gave up his flip-flops which I never thought would happen!
He also got a birthday card from his cousins in Filmore. He LOVES opening mail so it was a special treat!
He got a birthday card from his great grandma and grandpa Burbank and great grandma and grandpa Sorensen with a couple dollars in them to add to his "moneys".
All in all, he had a great birthday and I can't believe he's 3!!

Temple Work
I got to volunteer at the Oquirrh Mountain Temple today! My wonderful Mother-In-Law came over to watch my kids at 9:30 this morning and I carpooled with my neighbor, Tiffany. I was working in the Historical Records department so basically I did a lot of observing. We were supposed to write down anything really unique that happened and make a note of any dignitaries that came through. Luckily nobody really important came through while I was on watch cause I probably wouldn't have been able to recognize and/or name who they were! (At least I don't THINK anyone came through! Haha!) So another part of our duties was to sort through the comment cards and record in the computer any comments that haven't been recorded yet or that were unique. The negative comments were disappointing. But other than that, it was pretty amazing to be able to read about every one's amazing experiences and to be able to talk to them as they came out of the temple. I haven't had the chance to go through it yet. I was tempted to sneak in after my shift was over but I know Jordan really wants to go anyway so I might as well wait and do it as a family. If anyone hasn't gone yet, hurry and go! The temple is open every day but Sunday and only goes through August 1st. It's an amazing experience especially if you haven't been inside a temple before! Take your family, friends and neighbors. Everyone is invited!

Sisters and Bedtime
I just have to say, this has to be one of the cutest things I have ever heard....
About a week or so ago, I moved Jordan back upstairs into Tegan's room. (For those of you who don't know, my sister is moving into my basement in a couple weeks.) So this is the first time either of them has shared a room and I was honestly really nervous about the whole thing and afraid neither of them would get any sleep. Well, the first couple of nights I put them to bed later hoping they would just pass out and sure enough, they both went right to sleep. I was so excited thinking this would all be such an easy adjustment but then the next night, I went to put Tegan in her crib, and she just started crying. It was the night she hurt her foot so I suspected this would be kind of a hard night. Well, after a few minutes of trying to calm her down, Jordan says to me "don't worry, Mom, I'll just sing to her and she will go to sleep." So I let her. I went out, closed the door, and just stood there listening. Jordan starts singing primary songs and within 30 seconds Tegan had stopped crying! It seriously made me want to cry. She has sung her to sleep every night since. What a sweet heart! She is such a good big sister!

Poor Teegers!
She has to leave this splint on for another week and if it still hurts to touch it, she will have to get a cast on it. But at least then she will be able to walk around. (Sort of :) )
But as you can see, she's still a happy-go-lucky baby!
