So my little brother, Alan came home from his mission today! I can't believe how much he has grown (spiritually). I could listen to him all day long! He has the most amazing testimony I have ever heard! I just wanted to hold him and never let go. It's truly amazing how much he glows with the spirit. He has said over and over again how much he loves his family and that makes me so incredibly happy! He will make such an awesome husband someday, what a lucky girl to get him!
He went to Torreon, Mexico so he has a bit of an accent. It's so awesome! I love hearing him talk and stumble over his words trying to stay English speaking! I will have to get him to help me translate to my tenants in my 4-plex! Either that or just teach me how to say, "your rent is late. Where is my money?" Ha ha!
I'll have to post a picture soon!

Bedtime
I just thought this was the cutest thing ever! Brigham absolutely loves his big sister, he wants to do everything just like her. Brandon has been having a hard time getting him to bed lately so he had Jordan put him to bed. Brigs totally loves it! She reads him his book, tucks him in, and kisses him goodnight. He goes right to bed every time! So cute!

Gardener Village
So we finally made the trip to Gardener Village. The kids thought it was pretty fun running free but Brigham would have nothing to do with the witches. They also rode on the ponies but I could only upload 5 pictures and I thought these were cuter!
Here's my Teger Wegers playin with the pumpkins! She loves to stand, she will be walking in no time!

Jordan's Sleepover
So apparently it's been awhile since my niece, Aubrey slept over. I forgot that she wakes up at the crack of dawn. (And I mean at the faintest sliver of light). I was watching Stephanie's kids Friday night while she went on a date with her hubby and when she got home, of course Jordan didn't want to leave. I had to work that night so in order to hurry things along, I said Aubrey could come sleep at our house. We get home and they immediately head downstairs and I went into Tegan's room to put her to bed. Those two are so cute! They dance around hugging each other saying how much they absolutely love each other and how they are the best of friends! So who knows what time they finally went to bed. Brandon put Brigham down then just went to bed. I, of course, was at work until 3:30. So the next morning, Jordan comes into my room at 6:45 and says "Mom, it's a little bit morning. It's a little bit morning!" I say "Yeah just a little bit so go back downstairs." Then she leaves my room and while walking back down the hall starts yelling to Aubrey "Yep, my Mom says it's a little bit morning! It's a little bit morning!" And then of course Tegan and Brigham wake up and my day starts on 3 hours of sleep. So I get the kids and go downstairs so I can doze a little while they play in the playroom and Aubrey starts telling me she's hungry. Now MY kids don't ever want to eat til they've been up for a couple hours but Stephanie's eat as soon as they wake up. So I made her wait so they would all eat together and she scarfed it all down so fast! It was so funny we all laughed at her! So anyway, I don't know if I can do THAT again. At least I have the weekend to catch up a little bit I guess.GOTTA LOVE THEM SLEEPOVERS!!

Temple Trip

Brandon and I finally made it back to the temple last night. It seems like there is always something stopping us from going. I finally decided that we were just going to do it! Thanks to my wonderful sister Stephanie who is always there at the drop of a hat to watch my kids, we finally made it. I think that was one of the most powerful sessions I have ever been to. It was amazing! As always, we left feeling recharged and ready to deal with whatever life throws at us! I know that God loves each one of us and he wants us all to be happy! Lately Brandon and I have been talking a lot about the fact that our Father in Heaven is a parent, too and he has to deal with difficult children all the time. Last night it really hit me how much he really does have to deal with and how much pain he has to go through watching his children make mistakes and then not have them turn to him for help or comfort. I know as a parent that I always want to be there for my kids and be able to shield them from having to go through tough lessons. He is there for us and is waiting for us to pray to him and include him in our lives.
Lately I have been getting really frustrated with trying to sell my house. We went to the temple with a prayer in our hearts asking the Lord for help. I know he knows what's best for us and he truly does want us to be happy. We just have to trust in him and continue to do the things he asks of us praying always. I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ! I am so grateful for the privilege of going to the temple and being able to feel that close to the Lord!

Camping trip
So I just got my camera battery charged so I could get some newer pictures. These are of our camping trip over Labor Day weekend. We took our trailer up to a place called Iron Mine. The kids absolutely loved it until it started raining non-stop.
Brandon got all the kids fishing/camping hats.
Sorry, I can't really figure out my camera enough to get the lighting right.
Jojo and Biggs slept on the bunk above the table and they thought that was the coolest thing ever! It took me back to the days when I used to sleep up there as a kid. (This trailer used to be my Grandparent's then my parents and we used it quite a bit when I was growing up).
Brandon chopped all our wood for our campfires.
And our dog Finni carried it to the woodpile
