Date Night

So we had an awesome date night last night! Dinner, a movie, and games. We didn't even have to find a babysitter! Cause it was all at Stephanie's house (thank you Steph). My mom and dad and sister Jessica and her husband Joseph came too. We made homemade pizza which is always the best, and watched Madagascar 2 which was hilarious! (Brandon  has decided to change his name to Brandonbrandon.)  Then we had to break out our games while Stephanie made her amazing chocolate chip cookies! We started playing this new one called Rage. It is so much fun! It's like our favorite, Count Down, but with a twist. It allows you to totally junk everyone. My poor dad got the brunt of it last night ;( Sorry Dad, I love you! I came in a close second. (To last). Then we had to play Uno Hearts which is Stephanie's favorite. That one gets pretty crazy and funny. Jessica managed to stay up top. (I think she was trying to even out her poor husband's score.) We finally had to call it a night cause Tegan kept waking up and throwing a fit. (I think she may have an ear infection :(.... ) So pretty much all the kids had passed out everywhere. It was awesome! I got home, slid all the kids into bed, and passed out myself at about 1:30. I think we may be doing a lot more of that due to lack of funds. So if anyone else wants to join the fun, give us a call!

My new van!

So we finally gave in and bought a new car. Well, a new van to be exact.  Last Tuesday I went into the dealership to get an oil change and They told me it would be like an hour wait. Who wants to sit around in the boring waiting room that long doing nothing? Not me. So I decide to go test drive some cars while I wait. Now a few months back I made a rotten deal with this dealership which got me into my car. Don't ask me why I went back to them. Maybe they would be a little nicer this time? So anyway, I end up test driving a dodge caravan and fantasizing about all the extra space this would allow and how much it would open up the possibility of having another kid. Well, 2 hours later, I'm driving away in a van. I'm so giddy and quickly text my sister to share in my excitement. Well, needless to say, she was happy I got a van but not too happy with my choice. So I get home and immediately call another dealership to see what they had to offer. So now I'm driving my new Caravan to the Honda dealership where I purchase a Toyota Sienna. I know, a bit impulsive, but honestly it had to happen sometime. We want to have more kids. And I figured that since we were so upside down in our car loan, the dealers would have to lower their prices more and give me more for my piece of junk car in order for them to get the numbers to match up. I just have to say that I couldn't be happier! I love my van! It is so wonderful to have all this space and the best part is, there's room for 6 kids! Not saying we'll have that many but at least now I know we're a little more prepared ;)

My little princess!

Jordan is finally letting me do things with her hair and it is so much fun! We went out and bought the little foam curlers so she could sleep in them and it wouldn't take so long in the morning and it turned out so darn cute! I do have to say, she is acting so grown up these days....

Brandon's 25 Random Things!

1. i suppose i should start with i love my family cause they come first.
2. my wife and my children each smell different. if i smell any one of them memories start pouring into my mind.
3. I'm addicted to working and I'm more concerned getting the job done than being paid.
4. I'm addicted to duck hunting. this year also goose hunting.
5. my best friend is my younger brother[he hates it when i say little brother]
6. i'm not consistent with capitalizing when >i< type.
7. i'm ?selfcontious? about hair groing on my body and hair falling off my head
8. i've had several niknames: brandino, dino, beandip, beanpie,and now moonpie.
9. i'm also ?selfcontious? about the fat growing slowly on my belly but i'm more motivated to sit in my lazyboy and stare at my big screen than to work out.
10. i love buying my wife flowers even though she thinks they are a waste of money
11. i'm not quite sure how to spell ?selfcontious?
12. my wife says i have too many project ideas that i don't finish. but i blame her for not letting me spend more money on them.
13. i am a homophobic but i do like to bake.
14. i love to build things with my hands, especially when they work when i'm done.
15. i'm turning 27 on the 17th, but my body feels like its 40.
16. i'm afraid of:heights,semitrucks,disappointing my wife, and losing my kids.
17. my dream job would be inventor but if you go back to #12 apparently i don't have enough money.
18. i would like to learn: how to paint, spanish, how to play guitar, italian, how to play the bango,
how to run a business, how to make my grass green, how to grow the hair back on my head, and how to get rid of the hair on my back.
19. i quit drinking caffeine on october 8, 2008 and going.
20. i know i should drink more water but i hate the taste or lack there of.
21. i love tools if i see a new tool i can't say no to it.
22. i hate going to bed, i hate waking up. it's a vicious cycle.
23. i hope to own my boss's company some day.
24. criticism comforts me ,yes even the negative, it helps me improve myself.
25. i'm happy now that i did this because i'm done;)

25 Random things about me

So I guess I was "tagged" by my sister Stephanie. She's been bugging me to get on here and do this forever! So here goes........

1- I LOVE being a mommy to my three kids!

2- I"m so happy I don't need to have a job outside the home so I can stay home with my wonderful kids

3- I have the best husband EVER who loves me to death and would do anything for me

4- I'm obsessed with working out and wish I could do it at least 5 hours a day

5- I've wanted to be a veterinarian for as long as I can remember

6- I was a straight A student all the way through college and would absolutely freak out if I got an A- 

7- I couldn't stand kids til I was a mom

8- I would love to live on a farm

9- I've lost over 300 pounds in my life

10- I have social anxiety which I hope to conquer some day

11- I have 3 dogs

12- I would love to compete in a triathlon some day

13- I hope to be fit and still going to the gym when I'm 90!

Oww!!

I just have to say how much I'm absolutely loving loratab right now. I got a root canal done on Thursday and have pretty much been drugged up ever since. Except for a few hours this morning so I would be able to drive to the gym. Seriously, I didn't remember it hurting this bad. I've had 3. You would think I'd remember. I've got to have the worst teeth ever. 6 months ago I went in for a checkup and had 2 small cavities which I got filled right away. I went in 2 weeks ago and now I need 3 root canals! What in the world?! I faithfully brush my teeth every day. Granted I'm not the best at flossing every day but I do use a mouth wash that supposedly strengthens the enamel. So anyway, I'm now halfway through the first one and not too sure I'll be able to survive 2 more. The checkbook definitely won't!
